What you can do during the annual fishing bans

From April 15, 2023 to May 15, 2023, the ban on catching fish and other aquatic organisms in the Black Sea, Danube River and inland water bodies is in force. But here are some tips on what you can do during the annual fishing closures:

  1. Use the time to explore and discover new fishing spots. www.fishmaponline.com is a great starting point.

  2. Improve your fishing skills by reading books, watching fishing lessons or taking a fishing course. This can help you become a more skilled fisherman and improve your chances of success when fishing is allowed.

  3. Use the time to maintain and repair your fishing equipment. This will ensure that it is in good working order when fishing is allowed.

  4. Clean and organize your gear. This will ensure you have everything you need for your next fishing adventure.

  5. Get involved in fishing activities by attending fishing shows, seminars or club meetings. This will keep you in touch with your favorite hobby.

And let's not forget that fishing bans are in place to help preserve fish populations and their habitats and by complying with them we will contribute to the sustainability of recreational fishing and the nature around us!
